​"Lobstah Trap" Ellis Express Cruiser

A modern interpretation of a small Lobster Yacht, this Ellis Express Cruiser with a Maine Bass Boat layout is the most versatile of boats. Modern appointments such as Galley, Head and Convertible top, offer the best for cruising comfort. A true dyed in the wool Maine built boat give a most unique ride in the southern waters of Charleston, South Carolina.

Cancellation: In the event of a cancellation by Classic Boat Charleston, LLC. due to severe weather, environmental conditions, unforeseen prohibitive events, or mechanical failure, the trip will be rescheduled to a mutually agreeable date at no additional charge.
In the event of a cancellation by the charter guest: Cancellations made 72 hours or more prior to departure day may receive a full refund, less a 5% cancellation fee. Cancellations made 48 hours prior to departure day will forfeit 50% of the excursion cost. Cancellations made less than 48 hours from departure day will forfeit 100% of the deposit (full amount). Special event charters have other terms than stated above.
Being on a boat includes some element of risk. Classic Boat Charleston, LLC. assumes no liability for injuries or loss of any kind.
Misconduct: Captain has the right to terminate any charter due to misconduct.

Built in 1974, this Olympic class keel boat contender is a pure-bread racer. The greatest sailors fiercely compete in 50 fleets of Etchells around the world. For your enjoyment, this one has been converted to a fresh daysailer. The "Golden Cod" Lobster Boat

The ‘Golden Cod’ is a true one of a kind boat. She was designed by world-renowned yacht designer K. Aage Nielsen of Alden Yachts & Sparksman & Stephens, and built by Maine’s finest boatbuilder, G.I. ‘Sonny’ Hodgdon,  Hodgdon Yachts in Boothbay, Maine.

Rates: 2 hour (minimum) Private charter.
Up to 6 passengers are welcome aboard per charter. Rates are for the Lobster Yachts.

Summer: May - September             $ 295
Sunset/ Night lights Cruise             $ 325
Special event charters &                 $ 395+
Holiday Weekends. 4th, Memorial Day, Labor Day.

Winter: October - April                   $ 225

Guests are invited to bring their own

food and refreshments.
